It never mattered to me that you were different.
People used to give me pitying looks,
Tell me how sorry they were.
I wasn't sorry.
You were different, yes,
But is that a bad thing?
Not to me.
I never wanted you to leave,  
And I never forgot you.
But you made me angry,
Because when it was your time to go,
You didn't give me time to be there,
Time to say goodbye.
I may have lain for two hours with you,
But really I didn't.
You were already cold,
